A Little About Emerey Kennels
Welcome to Emerey Rottweilers. Emerey Rottweilers is a new kennel situated in the Hawkesbury area of NSW. It is a partnership kennel who involves Mathew Krueger and Donna Borg.
Emerey Kennels may be new by name, but one of the founders of this kennel (Donna) has been involved with the dog scene for over 22 years.
Donna is second generation in a very dog oriented family (Silvaspring Kennels). Donna grew up showing dogs and was heavily involved with showing her parents English Springer Spaniels both in the confirmation ring and Junior Handlers. Donna won many pal NSW Junior Handlers pointscores and was placed several times at the NSW Pal State Finals, whilst showing from a very young age Donna was lucky enough to have handled many different breeds from Newfoundlands, St Bernards, Dobermans, English Springer Spaniels. American Cocker Spaniels, Bearded Collies, Afghans to Australian Silky Terriers.
Whilst on a hiatus from showing we bought a house together and we wanted to get back into the show ring, whilst wanting a breed of our own we choose the Rottweiler and now have been involved in the Rottweiler scene for a couple years now showing in both the confirmation ring and at specialty level.
Our aim is to breed Rottweilers that are of excellent breed type, correct in structure, intelligent, sound in temperament, healthy of any genetic defects, substantial in bone, with powerful masculine heads for the males and powerful famine heads for the females, good harmonious movement and have powerful working ability. We will be breeding our Rottweilers within the guidelines of the National Rottweiler Council Of Australia.
All our adult dogs and bitches have been hip/elbow scored along with mouth and eye certificates.
We are both members of the Rottweiler Club of NSW and Dogs NSW.
Donna is now a licensed Junior Handler judge.
We would like to say a big thank you to Ian & Donna Sharp from Zalapa Kennels. Ian & Donna bred, selected and allowed us to have a such a wonderful male Rottweiler (Buick) who is our first show rottweiler. We could not of asked for a more marvelous Rottweiler to start off with. Both Ian and Donna's knowledge on the Rottweiler breed and their willingness to help is incredible and will never be forgotten. Thank you Ian and Donna.
